[ He looks up from his bed to see the figure sitting near by. Glitch remains somewhat quiet for a moment as he looks at them. The guy looked like a giant in comparison to himself and for a moment? He worried the guy might step forward and break his neck.
But, considering he qas unconcious and this guy had just seemingly sat there? The was probably unlikely.
Glitch sits up a bit against the bed with a small wince as he turns his gaze to the other guy, scanning him a bit. He couldn't be more than what? Eighteen? Nineteen? Though he guesses the facial hair probably makes him seem older. Still, the boy sits there staring suspiciously. ]
Where Am I? Where's Echo? [ Because he hadn't forgotten the comatose boy he carried through the wilds. ]
[He knew he looked somewhat intimidating to strangers. Between the teeth and his sheer stature, there was no avoiding it-- and, with a sober nod, he slowly stood and opened the shutters just enough to let a dusty stream of sunlight through. With the room further illuminated, the situation was plain to see:
Echo still slept nearby, gently tucked underneath the ragged blankets that had been scavenged from abandoned homesteads. For all appearances to anyone, he seemed like he was merely asleep.]
Right here, [Thorn said, in as gentle and reassuring a voice as possible.] We've got him stable for now. At least until one of our healers gets back, anyway...
[He let out a small, dissatisfied sound that sounded almost like a throaty groan.]
Whatever happened to you two... it looks like it was hell.
